VILA VITA Marburg GmbH is a multifaceted gourmet world in the university city of Marburg with 15 independent hotel and restaurant concepts. VILA VITA Marburg GmbH includes the VILA VITA Rosenpark hotel with a bar and a wellness area, six restaurants with different gastronomy concepts and the adjacent congress center. An ice cream manufacture with bistro, a delicatessen and the idyllically situated estate Hofgut Dagobertshausen as well as the vineyard Weingut am Nil in the Palatinate complete the VILA VITA Group. In total, VILA VITA Marburg GmbH employs more than 500 people.
Your Tasks
- Welcome and check-in and check-out of guests
- Dealing with reservations, bookings and enquiries by telephone, e-mail and in person
- Providing information about the hotel, the facilities and places of interest in the surrounding area
- Processing payments, cash management and end-of-shift billing
- Assisting with administrative tasks in the front office, such as updating guest information and preparation of reports
- Solving guest problems and complaints in cooperation with other departments
Our Requirements
- Completed training in the hotel or tourism sector or comparable professional experience
- First experience in the front office, ideally in an upscale hotel or resort
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanour
- Ability to work in a team and to maintain high quality standards under pressure
- Good knowledge of common hotel software (Protel an advantage)
- Flexibility in terms of working hours, working hours, including shift work, shift work, weekends, weekends and public holidays
- Very good knowledge of German and English (spoken and written), further language skills are an advantage
