Our Wellness Area
The Finnish sauna
One of the best-known types of sauna is the Finnish sauna, which is also probably the hottest of all sauna types. At 90 to 100 degrees Celsius, this tradition is extremely popular. In our facilities at the Rosenpark Hotel in VILA VITA Marburg, you can work up a good sweat and do your health a favor. The wood-panelled cabins of the Finnish sauna have loungers and seats at various heights. The higher the seat or lounger you choose, the hotter it will be for you during your sauna session and infusion.
The bio sauna
In contrast to the traditional Finnish sauna, you can relax in the bio sauna at slightly lower temperatures. With an approximate room temperature of 60 degrees Celsius, it is easy to switch off and feel pleasantly warm. Due to the lower temperatures, there are no infusions in our bio sauna. Nevertheless, we pamper you with various essential oils to ensure a pleasant fragrance and a sauna session that is gentle on your circulation.The benefits of the steam bath were already recognized in ancient Rome. You too can enjoy the benefits of steam at over 50 degrees Celsius and relax in our sauna area. A visit to our steam bath at the Hotel Rosenpark in Marburg is beneficial for a wide range of health problems:

The snow cabin
Cool down in our snow cabin after a sauna session. With low temperatures and artificial snow, you can get your circulation going again after a sauna session in our wellness area. We recommend that you enter the room, which is cooled to between -6 and -15 degrees Celsius, after an infusion and rub your arms and legs with the dry snow.
The brine gallery
In the ambience of a salt mine, you can relax in our brine gallery at around 35-38 degrees Celsius during your stay at the wellness facility in Marburg. The clear, salty air has a healing and relaxing effect on you and your respiratory tract. The brine tunnel, in which special salt plates are built into the walls, not only helps you to relax, but also to treat various respiratory complaints.
The infrared seats
Our infrared seats in the wellness area of the Hotel Rosenpark in Marburg provide you with deep heat. In contrast to a normal sauna session, where the body is heated from the outside by the air in the room, the infrared rays heat the body from the inside. This makes sweating more tolerable and your muscles relax considerably. This is particularly recommended after a round of sport in our VITA Gym.

The swimming pool
The pool can only be entered with swimwear. It has a size of 5x8 m (40 square meters) and a depth of 1.20 m. The average temperature is 27-29°C. The whirlpool function and the counter-current system are located in the main pool. There is no area for small children.
