VILA VITA Marburg GmbH is a multifaceted gourmet world in the university city of Marburg with 15 independent hotel and restaurant concepts. VILA VITA Marburg GmbH includes the VILA VITA Rosenpark hotel with a bar and a wellness area, six restaurants with different gastronomy concepts and the adjacent congress center. An ice cream manufacture with bistro, a delicatessen and the idyllically situated estate Hofgut Dagobertshausen as well as the vineyard Weingut am Nil in the Palatinate complete the VILA VITA Group. In total, VILA VITA Marburg GmbH employs more than 500 people.
Your Tasks
- Supporting the head chef in the planning and organisation of kitchen operations
- Deputising for the head chef
- Participation in menu creation
- Compliance with quality standards and the applicable HACCP hygiene regulations
- Accepting and inspecting incoming goods
- Joint responsibility for the smooth day-to-day operations
- Sharing responsibility for a smooth organisation and workflow in every respect in the entire kitchen area as well as active cooking in all posts as required
Our Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a chef
- At least 3 years of professional experience in the á la carte and banquet area desirable
- First experience in the management of employees is an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of products and materials
- Structured, independent and conscientious working style
- Clean, well-groomed and exemplary appearance
- Hospitable and competent demeanour
- Success- and quality-orientated way of working
- Ability to work independently
- Reliability, ability to work in a team, resilience, discretion and loyalty
- Very good knowledge of German, other languages are an advantage
