The VILA VITA Marburg GmbH is a versatile world for connoisseurs located in the university city of Marburg, featuring 15 independent hotel and gastronomy concepts. The VILA VITA Marburg GmbH includes the Hotel VILA VITA Rosenpark with its bar and wellness area, six restaurants offering various culinary concepts, and the adjacent congress center. An artisanal ice cream parlor with a bistro, a gourmet deli, the idyllic Hofgut Dagobertshausen, and the Weingut am Nil winery in the Palatinate complete the VILA VITA group. In total, VILA VITA Marburg GmbH employs over 500 staff members.
Your Tasks
- Leading a team of service staff at your assigned station and ensuring smooth operations in the restaurant
- Welcoming and attending to guests
- Providing professional advice on food and beverage choices, including wine recommendations
- Ensuring the restaurant maintains a neat appearance and adhering to quality standards
- Managing table reservations, seating guests, and organizing table layouts
- Handling payments, cash management, and end-of-day accounting
Our Requirements
- Completed training in the hotel or gastronomy sector, or a comparable professional experience
- Several years of experience in service, ideally in fine dining or luxury hospitality
- Strong leadership and communication skills, as well as a team-oriented mindset
- Excellent knowledge of service procedures and a professional demeanor
- Resilience and the ability to maintain high-quality standards under pressure
- Flexibility regarding working hours, including working in shifts, on weekends, and on public holidays
- Excellent written and spoken German and English skills; additional languages are an advantage
